Dear Corporate Sponsor,

Snow College, Zions Bank and members of the bowl committee would like to introduce you to the Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl. This junior college bowl game features two top junior college football programs. Snow College is the home team if they finish above .500 each year. Proceeds from the bowl benefit the Snow College general scholarship fund and the National Kidney Foundation of Utah.

Kickoff this year will be Saturday, December 1 at 12:00 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Game weekend will include a banquet Friday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. for players, coaches and sponsors in the Rice-Eccles Stadium Tower. Our banquet speaker last year was Frank Layden and we hope to bring him back for an encore performance. Other activities scheduled for the players include tours of Salt Lake City and the Olympic Park in Park City and practices in the University of Utah’s indoor practice facility.

The Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl is sanctioned by the National Junior College Athletic Association and is one of eight junior college bowl games scheduled for 2007. Our inaugural game was played 2004 with Snow College defeating 11th-ranked Rochester Community College 45-7.

Our aim as a committee is to host the premier bowl experience in junior college football. In our first year, word spread that we had the best facility, best organization and best support for a junior college bowl game. Given the quality and tradition of Snow College’s football program, we anticipate staging a national championship within the next few years.

Please review the enclosed proposal. If you have any questions please contact me at (801) 585-9200 or at Rick.Pike@csbs.utah.edu.

Sincerely,

Rick Pike
